Garmin® announced sponsorship of Neptune Regatta

Singapore/ December 21, 2012 - Garmin Corporation, a unit of Garmin Ltd., the global leader in satellite navigation, today announced to sponsor Neptune Regatta, the world’s only international equator regatta. Garmin joint as the official race navigation equipment and naming rights of “THE GARMIN RACE TO ZERO” the regatta’s headline sprint race from Neptune Island (8 nm’s north of the equator) crossing the line and entering the southern hemisphere, paying homage to King Neptune, and racing back up to Neptune Island, a 16 nm sprint race.
